PADS stands for “Providing Advocacy, Dignity and Shelter” and offers a comprehensive approach to addressing homelessness with compassion. Our church participates in South Suburban PADS, which is an interfaith, nonprofit organization working to prevent and end homelessness in the region. As such, Hazel Crest Community UMC is part of an emergency shelter network providing refuge for people experiencing homelessness.
