Bible Study: “The Screwtape Letters”

Using Matthew 4: 1-11 and other Bible passages, Pastor Paul walks us through a study about temptation. We will be using the classic novel, “The Screwtape Letters” by C. S. Lewis. In this book, Wormwood is a junior demon apprentice, who must secure the damnation of a young man who has just become a Christian. He seeks the advice of an experienced, senior demon, his uncle Screwtape.
We will explore several key elements of temptation including, but not limited to:
*Psychological (dealing with human needs and wants)
*Spiritual (establishing and maintaining self-control)
*Ethical (having a moral compass)
